Scoping out possibilities of a new walk/bike trail

Hamish and I have been scoping out possibilities of a walk/bike trail up the Waihao River North Branch and talking to landowners - there are some beautiful pockets of native bush, swimming holes and stunning scenery up the valley which could eventually connect up to Mt Studholme and back via Gunns Bush and Kelcey's bush. There is a huge amount of history in our district which would be learnt along the way on the trail.
