The Waimate Summer Garden Competition 2021

The Waimate Summer Garden Competition was judged at the end of January and the judge’s task was made quite difficult by the very high standard of entries. Prizes were awarded for the best small town garden, best large town garden, best kitchen garden and best country garden at a prize giving ceremony held at  Back Paddock Garden and Gifts. There was also recognition of the best street of gardens in Waimate.

Now planning begins for the next competition which will be judged January 2022. This gives plenty of time for those of you who missed the last competition to get your gardens into top condition to impress the judges.
